New Hope Vocational Rehabilitation Youth Programs
For the seven years New Hope Vocational Services has had the privilege of working in partnership with State of Ohio, Rehabilitation Services Commission and various local schools.
These programs each designed to enhance the experience of youths with a severe disability with positive work experiences. Each youth's program is designed to their interests and abilities, for a more positive outcome.
A job coach may be required for the youth during some or all of the training period to give one on one instruction and assist the youth in training to understand and successfully complete all the requirements of the employer.
NHVS is also committed to working in partnership with schools to promote the hiring and internships of youth for positive experiences in the community, during the school year. The agency is also committed to participating in school-to-work activities, speaking engagements, and other school events. The directors of the agencies hold board and advisory board positions on local school boards.
